Updated: Jul 6
My name is Jun Ishikawa, and I serve at Immanuel Naha Christ Church.
I ran community children’s meal program in Yonabaru Town, Okinawa.
Now, I serve as an advisor rather than the director.
For the past ten years, we have been inviting children from the cafeteria to join our Summer Bible Camp.
This year, we hope to invite even more children, and we would like to ask for your prayers and financial support.Payment method

About Children's Cafeteria
The name of our children's cafeteria is Tsunahiki Free childen`s cafeteria .
We launched this in January 2017, guided by the Lord.
We work with the goal of creating a place for children to belong, by providing breakfast there and helping them with their studies before school.
Although we do not belong to any other religious organization, two members of our church, including myself, participate as staff members.
We are supported by many individuals and groups across church boundaries, including members of the various OEF churches, Cerlebrate Recovery, Father Duranno's School, Naha Baptist Church, Ikoi Church, Naha Megumi Church, Okinawa 611 Reiryoudo World Mission Church, Miyako St. James Church from outside the prefecture, and churches on the mainland and in the United States introduced to us by my sister.

↑[Tsunahiki Free cafeteria Flyer] We open every week on weekday mornings from 6:30 to 8:00, before school starts. On Saturdays, we are open from 8:00 to 18:00. We provide free breakfast and tutoring services.

From 2017 until last year, Tsunahiki Free Cafeteria participated in the Bible Camp every year.
In 2024 in Nago City, your support made it possible for 10 children to join the camp.
Since then, many children have started coming to church regularly.

2025 at Itoman city
Thanks to your support again, more than 10 children were able to join the camp.
After the camp, the rate of regular attendance has increased.

Thank you for reading to the end.
We aim to be an open church that shares the gospel while being rooted in our local community.
We rely on the Lord’s guidance as we seek to act in ways that are fitting for this generation.
Thank you for your prayers and support.
God bless you all.
